I have been working in childcare for eight years. When it was first brought to my attention that the school I was working at was going to get web cams I was very apprehensive. Even though the guys at DaycareCams explained everything very thoroughly and answered all my questions, I still had my reservations about being on camera all day. My biggest fear of the cameras were the thought of the parents logging on and misinterpreting something and questioning my abilities in the classroom.

After the cameras were installed the parents came in and all I got was positive feedback. I loved hearing that they saw me sitting with their child reading a story, or our class involved in an art project. My favorite was when a parent called in after witnessing her child hitting another child and told on him! The cameras turned out to be a very positive thing for both the parents and myself.

Three years after the cameras were installed I left that center to become the director of a new school. There were no doubts this time whether or not the cameras were a good idea. My experience with DaycareCams has been nothing but positive. It is definitely a service I am thankful to be able to offer the families at my center.

Happy Days Child Development Center, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, prides itself on providing children with highest level of education, and parents with continuous involvement and interactive experience with their children's daily school activities. In 2000, we were one of the first schools offering in class web viewing supported by 9 cameras in the classrooms and outside play areas.

In late 2006, we began searching for a web hosting and service provider that could continue and offer the same high level user experience we had been providing to the school's parents, but at a more competitive price. After speaking with several different service providers, we selected Daycare Cams.

In addition to offering a competitive hosting fee, the representatives from Daycare Cams were very knowledgeable and worked diligently to complete the move smoothly and on time. Daycare Cams created an additional custom web page, which matched our existing website, and created a seamless parent user experience. The back end administrative interface is simple to use and has the functionality our school requires. As we have in the past, we provide each parent with a username and password which allows the parents to access the camera in their children's classroom and the playground. To increase security and maximize refresh rate, Daycare Cams allowed us to log parents off after 3 minutes of viewing. Parents cam then log in again if they wish to continue viewing.

In early 2007 we switched the hosting of cameras at our other location in Santa Clara, California as well as our website hosting to Daycare Cams. Again, our experience was great. The change was done on budget and on time, with representatives from Daycare Cams easily accessible via phone for all necessary support.

All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend Daycare Cams to others.
